Lovells 3505kg GVM - 7005kg GCM
This upgrade suits Ford Ranger next gen 2022 on with a 3.0ltr V6 Diesel engine (does not suit rear drum brake models). It will give you approximately 225kg extra payload and 605kg extra gcm. We fit these GVM upgrades in Hobart at our workshop and these are fitted by fully qualified staff. As part of the fitment a comprehensive wheel alignment is also completed.
This upgrade is most suitable for a couple with minimal accessories on their vehicle and towing up to around 3300kg or a couple with a stock vehicle with no accessories towing up to 3500kg

LOVELLS GVM UPGRADE KIT HOW TO FIT
New vehicles must be fitted prior to first registration for Second Stage Manufacture/Federal Compliance Plate Approval its best to speak to us and your dealer before organising this as the dealer will often want this complete before delivery.
Vehicles which are already registered can be fitted with a GVM kit under individual State or Territory Compliance - in Tasmania that means a engineering certificate and modification plate is required and we organise this at TJP Auto & 4x4 as part of fitting the kit.
Only Lovells Automotive Systems Authorised fitters are approved to fit the GVM kit and Lovells endorsed engineering signatories are approved to inspect State Compliance modified vehicles TJP Auto & 4x4 is both.

When fitting a Lovells GVM kit to these vehicles, the vehicle must have the following minimum
minimum Tyre Load Index of 110/112 and Speed Rating of 'N'

State Compliance - Post Registration
Vehicles which are already registered cannot be fitted under federal approval. In Tasmania TJP Auto & 4x4 can offer State compliance for vehicles already registered in accordance to State Legislation and approved by a Lovells endorsed engineering signatory.
The Lovells GVM upgrade kit has been approved by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications and will help to keep your vehicle legal.
Gross Combination Mass GCM increases is available and part of the upgrades in Tasmania
Braked Towing Capacity upgrade is available pre first registration only in Tasmania
