At TJP AUTO , we guarantee our products and services to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. However, we understand that sometimes things can go wrong. If this does happen, please get in touch as soon as you can, and one of our friendly staff members will help to quickly sort it out.
TJP AUTO will repair or exchange (where possible) the product or service if it becomes defective within the warranty period.
TJP AUTO will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty.
This warranty will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect or where subsequently repaired or modified by anyone other than TJP Auto.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or normal service life and excludes maintenance items, such as globes, wiper blades, lubricants and fluids.
Please retain your invoice as proof of purchase and contact TJP AUTO straight away as we only honor this warranty in house and do not pay external repair bills with out pre authorization or inspection
If the part is found to be faulty during the warranty period, labour will be charged to the customer to remove and replace the part plus a charge for any fluids or other parts that need to be replaced in the process.
Faulty workmanship is covered for the same length of time as the part warranty however can only be claimed for genuine faulty workmanship and not to replace a faulty part or other mechanical issue.
TJP AUTO covers all parts that are supplied and fitted by us and all workmanship performed by TJP AUTO. Where we make a mistake, we will rectify the workmanship free of charge within the warranty period. This Warranty applies only to the State of Tasmania.
The vehicle must have been used normally for its intended purpose and have been properly maintained and used in accordance with the manufacturer guidelines.
Warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear.
Outside interference with work that has been carried out by TJP Auto or out side repair of the fault will void this warranty.
Warranty claims will not be accepted if incorrect or contaminated fuels, additives, lubricants or coolants have been used, or if the vehicle has been used in any motor sport competition or trial.
Warranty does not cover incidental loss or damage, including towing or loss of profits.
This warranty does not apply to fitment of used parts or customer supplied parts.
